Wearing Shoes Indoors Brings in What?

We recently read a blog article about the ill effects of wearing shoes all day outdoors and then traveling through the house in them afterwards.

Carpets are a large scale filter.

They trap in dust and hold it deep within its fibers to keep the allergen out of our eyes and noses until we’re able to clean them out of the carpet.

Walking across the carpet in shoes brings in more allergens and essentially, your carpet is cleaning these allergens (and more) off the shoes…and holding onto them!
