Weed Root Urine Analogy

Carpet Cleaners For Pet Urine & Odor Removal

A weed in your lush green lawn not pulled out by the root will surely come back up in a few months. Similarly, pet urine contamination that is rooted in the carpet’s padding will return if not thoroughly extracted from beyond the surface. Cleaning the carpets to remove pet urine is similar to mowing the lawn to detract from the unsightly weed: it will work in a pinch to make it less prominent; however, you will face the problem again when it undoubtedly resurfaces.

Our process removes targets the urine deep within the padding at its source (the root cause) pulling it up through the carpet fibers. This is a highly effective, specialty treatment.

A Special Note From Your Carpet Specialists

A Special Note From Your Carpet Cleaners

Please note that when it comes to urine in carpet, there is a difference between three services: carpet cleaning to sanitize and disinfect the carpet, removing visible stains from urine, and treating for odor. Cleaning existing urine spots MAY NOT remove any associated odor or visible stains. In fact, cleaning could increase the odor in the air space for a temporary period of time. If you are experiencing an odor problem, The Specialists specializes in effective subsurface pet odor treatments that remove the problem from its source.

Pet Urine & Odor Removal

The Pet Cleaning Process Using Natural Carpet Cleaner

The affected area is carefully saturated with a special solution. The solution is then extracted with a tool (process seen in photo) specially designed to hook up to our truck mount (engine powered vacuum) and draw the solutions from the backing pad back and up through the carpet fibers to the surface for removal. This treatment is the most thorough available without pulling up carpet. It is recommended that we clean the carpets after the Urine Treatment to sanitize and rinse any residue from urine and cleansers in the carpet.

Our Home Carpet Cleaners Remove 99% Of Odor Situations

This treatment is NOT guaranteed to remove the odor, although it takes care of 99% of the odor situations we encounter. We can spray a topical lightening agent to lighten the stain left behind from urine, if one is still present.

Act Fast With Pet Mess

Act Fast With Pet Mess

Pet urine can cause permanent damage to your floors and fabrics. It can also create an unhealthy indoor environment. When urine is first deposited onto a floor or fabric, it is in an almost “neutral” state which means it is easier to remove when it is fresh. Once it dries, it turns “alkaline” and becomes more difficult to remove. If left for days or weeks, depending on the fabric or floor type, it will permanently change the dye structure, therefore causing permanent staining. Even if the soluble deposits are removed, the damage to the dye structure may already be done.

This means that no one can guarantee complete removal of all urine spots. Please consult with your technician if you have questionable urine spots on your carpet.

Our Natural Carpet Cleaner Works On Rugs

We also offer pet urine odor removal from rugs. The same principles apply: we submerge the rug in a bath to flush out the contamination, then rinse well and clean as usual. Stains, again, are a separate concern and not guaranteed to be removed due to the delicate nature of vegetable dyes in rugs. We offer a free inspection for price quote.
