Fiber Protection It is Worth The Investment.

Is having fiber protection worth the extra cost?  That really depends on how you think about it.  When you have any rug, whether wall to wall or a beautiful area rug, it is an investment in your home.   By adding a professionally applied protection to any of your rugs, carpet or upholstery you buy yourself a bit more time to help you get a spill up, therefore helping to maintain your rug, carpet and upholstery’s beauty and value.

When you have your area rugs (either fine (oriental, hand knotted or hand dyed) or just a department store style rug) cleaned, they next step is a crucial one. Be sure to ask for protection to be professionally applied to your freshly cleaned rugs, carpets and upholstery.  This will buy you more time to treat spills when the inevitably occur.

Protection works by helping the fibers from absorbing anything accidentally spilled on your rugs, carpets or upholstery too quickly.  Protection (when professionally applied) should help a stain bead up and sit on top of the fibers for up to 15 minutes but this doesn’t mean you can wait to treat your stain.
